West coast inspired Wedding at the Trinity River Audubon Center
Annie and Conor hail from Texas, but Annie was finishing up becoming a doctor for the military and they were living in Washington State. Planning a destination wedding on top of a busy schedule wasn’t something they could handle on their own, but we were on board to help them get married in Dallas at the Trinity River Audubon Center. This pair chose their venue because of its beautiful scenery, and the floor-toceiling windows also let in tons of natural light.
When I first spoke to Annie and Conor, they had one wish: to infuse the event with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Annie and Conor love to hike and explore the natural forests, so décor included plenty of ferns, moss, and mushrooms to create a lush overgrown feel. And using wooden bread baskets as centerpieces added another natural element, while black taper candles created a touch of drama.
