Sara and Randy came to me dreaming of a clear top tent, a band, and bright, colorful blooms. Sara’s a California girl originally, though she met Randy here in Texas when they were working for the same company. They realized they were neighbors which led to carpooling to the office and, the rest, they say, is history.
To tie in their upbringings, we used California poppies and bluebonnets in their custom crest, which laid the ground for the wedding day’s color palette of yellows, oranges, blue, and bright pink. And since Randy is obsessed with citrus, we incorporated clementines and kumquats into the floral décor. Not to be overshadowed by flowers and fruit, their two dogs also made an appearance courtesy of the save-the-dates, custom cups, and cocktail names.
I loved turning this infinitely kind-hearted duo’s cheerful, preppy wedding dreams into a reality.
