Modern botanical Wedding infused with Vietnamese traditions at the Olana
It was important to Tran and Tommy to integrate their Vietnamese culture throughout their wedding. From the tea ceremony that began the day to the lion dancers that surprised guests at the reception, we helped make that happen. We really tried to personalize the wedding as much as possible, which is what we love to do. We paired escort cards with chopsticks for guests to use during the traditional family-style meal. And while many traditions were incorporated, the overall look and feel for this wedding at The Olana was modern. Palm fronds and dried florals were a subtle nod to the jungles of Vietnam, but the colors were in sunset hues and when combined with fresh flowers in asymmetrical arrangements, the look and feel of this wedding was truly unique.
