Fresh pharmaceuticals at Dove Ridge Vineyard
While no love potion was involved in Kathleen and Steven’s romance, prescription medicine played a part. The pair met while doing their pharmaceutical practicums at a CVS pharmacy, connected over their love for video games, and the rest is history.
While a large, Texas wedding was their initial plan, these two health professionals instead opted for an intimate wedding in the midst of the Covid outbreak. As a nod to how they met, pharmacy bottles were filled with fresh blooms and wrapped with table assignments instead of traditional escort cards. The couple also honored their Vietnamese roots by serving a 7-course meal with traditional menu items like bean curd shrimp rolls and Peking duck with bao buns. Delicate hints of red also played tribute to their heritage and their shared belief that the color leads to good luck in a marriage.
